Just listened to it. great episode. Too bad no video this time but that's ok. I liked your impressions of the guys talking about "Mother!" those were great. What did you guys think of the extended Cloud vs Sephiroth fight at the end compared to the incomplete version? In the original Cloud never got hurt so imagine my surprise when he gets pierced and stabbed in the foot and stuff. Cool that you will try out doing a reaction video for the next big FF15 trailer. Awesome that you will be reviewing the FF15 demo when it comes out and even though you won't review FF Type 0 I assume you will probably play some of it because how can one not be tempted to play a new FF if they have it

Agreed. I personally liked Complete's final confrontation scene more. Blood brings consequence to violence, therefore any time there is blood in one version, and not another, I'm destined to like the bloody version better.

It was interesting to hear your guys' opinions on the movie. Especially since you generally liked it. I actually hated Advent Children. I think it's a poorly paced movie and I've only been able to sit through the entire thing once.
I enjoyed the fight scenes, but that's about it.
And the fact that they kind of did a retcon on some of the characters from FFVII is annoying too.

Complete edition has worse pacing for sure.

Does anyone know which one was (is?) on Netflix. I own the UMD (hell yeah) and watched it almost nonstop for a month. I had not played VII yet and was only back into Final Fantasy for a year or so. Then I picked up the DVD and later the Blu-Ray (I am a sucker for extras). I will need to see if one of those says complete or not, but when I watched it on Netflix, it definitely felt different. I thought maybe I was just burned out on it.

Well, if the very first scene is a helicopter, it's the original. If it's an arbitrary scene with Kadaj, it's complete.
