It would be interesting to hear about the Final Fantasy Tactics games as a complete series. Usually they're talked about individually but it would be nice to see all three games talked about together. I think you could do some good comparing/contrasting.
I've only ever played FFTA and FFTA2. I'd love to know more about FFT and how it's related.

...You need to play tactics immediately. Is it that much better than FFTA and FFTA2? I do own a copy of the War of the Lions remaster of FFT on my Vita. It's on my "to play" list, I just haven't gotten to it yet.

Tactics War of the Lions is a lot better than the PS1 original version. Tactics Advance was "meh" Tactics A2 was much better.

Also, if talking about the Tactics games, then you need to also include XII, and XII: Revenant Wings, to get the full Ivalice experience

I really need to get around to the original. Like I said, I have the War of the Lions version sitting on my Vita ready to go. I'm just trying to work my way through the main series before I get into the spin-offs again. War of the Lions is probably going to be my first choice after I wrap up the main games.

Well honestly I believe it has one of the best video game stories. It really shows the characters of Ramza and Delita. It also has one of the best gameplay styles I've ever seen. None of the ff tactics games, or any game similar to that style can quite compete, with its amazing combination of the story and gameplay. It also has neat side quests such as getting cloud, or Beowulf. If you play war of the lions you can get baltheir of ff12 and luso from ff tactics A2. War of the lions also animates some of the cutscenes and adds good voice acting to the characters.

My only experience with it was struggling through the first level in the iPhone version. The struggle was with the controls, not the gameplay itself. I knew within 5 minutes of playing that I needed the have buttons which is why I picked it up on Vita when I got the chance. Like I said, this is right there at the top of my list for games to play once I finish my playthrough of the main numbered games.

That's good because its definitely worth playing. Also I've heard the iOS versions are bad so I'd stick with the PlayStation or psvita.
