Two Hours.
A man (or woman) can accomplish a lot in two hours.
1. Build a Computer.
2. Finish a project at work.
3. Watch an entire movie.
4. Finish the first section of Final Fantasy VIII (I jest, it's not quite that long, but it is long)
But I cannot think of a better way for me to spend two hours than listening to Part 1 of your review. Part 2 will be a great culmination of what has started here.
Some comments:
I've always enjoyed the extremely thorough synopsis, detailed sections, and I don't mind you often share the same opinion. Great minds think alike, they say (except for that damn Genie from Aladdin, when he was on TV on Saturday Mornings for cartoons, he said great minds think for themselves, that asshole).
Having this particular Final Fantasy be my nostalgic favorite, it's great to hear what you have to say, even if I don't quite agree with it all. I'm not someone who has to always be right, as long as I'm strong in my own convictions!
Is it a flawed game? Is it something that could have been been changed in some more development? Questions we won't ever get good answers to, but I think that this is the most polarizing game of the series (as you've made mention).
Overall, I enjoy two hour episodes. I'm sure it's murder for your throat (especially if you ended up recording 3 hours in order to cut it) but you three always have something insightful, thoughtful, and (maybe unintentionally) I'm often waiting on the edge of my seat to hear what you have to say next.
Hook, Line, and Sinker.
Keep up the great work!
Edit: I know in the intros, or somewhere else, I gave my rankings of Final Fanatsy, but in the spirit of keeping up with you, here's my rankings (Up to 8)
