It's not TECHNICALLY a sequel...

The PSP version of FF2 has Soul of Rebirth. If you don't want to play FF2 again to unlock it you can simply use one of these saves www.gamefaqs.com/psp/937910-final-fantasy-ii-anniversary-edition/savesAnd then just playthrough Soul of Rebirth. It literally takes like 4 hours to complete. Also In Super Mario RPG for SNES it has Final Fantasy boss Easter Eggs Check this out. FF boss music? check. FF boss? check. FF items and spell names? check. Easter Eggs put in by Square? check. I dunno this isn't just an RPG by Square Enix its a game with a lot of FF nods and its the only Mario RPG that is like this.

LOL I remember that article from a few years ago. I would love for this game to be released on 3ds. I heard so many wonderful about Super Mario RPG. What is the best (only?) way to play the game legally at the moment? EDIT: Hell, yeah, screw you Tifa.

Buy a Super Nintendo (SNES) and buy a copy of the Super Mario RPG game. or buy a Wii/Wii U and on the Wii eShop go to the super nintendo games section and buy Super Mario RPG digitally I think its like 1000 points or something. which is like $10

Nice. Oh, why, oh, why can't it be in the 3DS eshop. If I bought an SNES, I would probably just end up playing FFIII (VI) for the glitches.

Damn It's gonna be ages before you guys get to play tactics! GOAT game and I want to hear Kaleb rip on the PS1 translation.
I also just finished playing through both the KH HD remixes. Honestly, I would just recommend playing the games in order of release. Birth by Sleep has a lot of weird references to (chronologically) future games that likely enhance the game experience if you play the future games first.
I also think you should play Tactics Advance before Tactics Advance 2. They're really similar games only TA2 improves on a lot of the gameplay elements in TA. I think playing TA second would feel like a step back. Also I know you're going for chronological order but if I remember correctly the stories really aren't related to eachother at all.

I think its always good to play games in the order of release and NOT chronological game story order. I'm still shocked I think Joe said he played MGS3 before playing MGS1-2 because MGS3 has a lot of references to the previous games...

Mmmmmm.... I'm like 90 percent sure we'll just say goodbye to podcasting when that happens, but maybe. I'm interested in revisiting fable and Diablo someday, but when this show is over i could just retire from video games lol
