If you could live in any town/village/city from any game in the FF series where would it be?
Do you prefer a diverse, thriving city like Rabanastre, or a quiet, rural place like Dali or Winhill?

The village from Crystal Chronicles. Small, rural town with a small group of closely bonded families. Plus the town has everything you need (fisherman, farmers, and bakers just to name a few). The only bummer is every year you have to send adventurers out to replenish your crystal, but there is an awesome kegger party when everyone gets back.

I'm not sure because a lot of FF towns have bad stuff that happens to them so I would hate living in a place that will get destroyed lol. I'd probably choose to live in an FF8 city.

If one thing is for sure, living in any of the major FFIX cities is a sure-fire way to get yourself killed.
I would probably want to live in Final Fantasy X's Luca. It's warm and sunny, just like this Californa girl likes it. It's pretty safe from Sin because they decided to protect the Blitzball stadium at all costs. And it's a relatively good sized city.

Huh, are any of these places safe? I imagine picking one of these places and then getting jumped by monsters right outside of town or poisoned by Kefka.

Doesn't bad stuff happen there in the beginning of X-2? Aren't you afraid of being kidnapped by Albhed?

And what is bad that happens at the beginning of FFX-2? A terrible concert? I can live with that.

I wouldn't feel safe living in any FF town. They're all liable for something bad to happen in them.

For some reason I keep imagining a battle there, but maybe that is later or even another game.

I think the worst thing that happens in Luca in either game is during the Blitzball game when fiends attack the stadium.

I think the worst thing that happens in Luca in either game is during the Blitzball game when fiends attack the stadium. And even then I think it's implied that the fiends were purposely released so that Seymour could have a chance to show everyone how powerful he is.
