Hi guys!! I'm a new guy in town. Few things about myself, I'm a HUGE final fantasy fan (as everyone in this forum should be) I own, played and beaten all the Final Fantasy game main series, and all the spin off stuff. A few years ago I did a FF marathon and played all of them back to back and kept a log of all the FF and other RPG games that I've played. I've logged over 570 game time so far My favorate game in the series is FFVII but Type-0 is a new close second! Not only do I collect all the FF games but I'm a general video game collector, I own all the major systems and only really missing some of the small third party system. The goal is to have the ability to play any game at any time. Funny part about owning so many games.. I have no time to play them. If I'm not at work, I'm at home spending time with my wife. (who supports my FF addiction, but is not a RPG fan) As for how i found the podcast/forum, I have been really getting into listing to podcasts while at work and I thought i would look up a final fantasy podcast. came across UFF right away and have been hooked since. I look forward to being part of a great community! hello man welcome to the forums

Welcome to the forums! Cool finding another big type 0 fan like myself. I wouldn't say its my favorite but i do like it alot and it is probably the best ff non mainline series game in my opinion I need motivation to play Type-0 like you do for XIII! At least XIII'S opening scenes can hook you visually and musically, but Type-0 I'm like wtf is going on? I'd agree with you on that. The early parts of type 0 are quite rough but once you power through it alot of it comes all together starting round chapter 4/5

At least XIII'S opening scenes can hook you visually and musically, but Type-0 I'm like wtf is going on? once you get past the first intro mission and they start explaining the details of the world, it gets a lot easier. My biggest problem with type-0 is the ease of the game.. I know it is ment to be played muliple times, but it's really a quick and easy game to play it for the story line. Shoot, there's a large number of bosses that you are some what intended to lose.

I do have most of the spinoffs, lets put it this way, to keep the list short, I'll list the games i DONT have physical copies of and ignoring the JP only releases: FFXIV ('cus MMO's suck..and i dont have friends) FFVI After years FF Legend !!! FFA2 Grimore of the rift CC My Life as a Dark Lord Chocobo Dungeon 2 I dont have FF Adventure yet, but I'v consider that part of the Mana series That's it. I have all the other games (2 copies of some) plus guides to most. I'm in the middle of a move, but when my game collection is set back up I'll post pictures for everyone My collection comes from years of garage sales, but I'm also lucky enough to have a few reuse game stores in town that have some of the hard to find games.

Love to see collection photos bro, kinda a collector myself, sad thing is i got more then i will ever play, though i tend to collect RPG's in general only buy them sealed always buy 2 copies(1 to play 1 to hold onto). I don't generally buy strategy guides as they don't tend to hold up well though i have a few collectors edition ones i like for there art. Welcome to the forums as well :-) Also FFA2 Grimore of The Rift is a pretty decent game check it out sometime man, if your into the tactic style games.

You should play FFXIV with the forums and the podcast hosts once they finish FF13. Also FFIV After Years comes wit the PSP version of FFIV complete (best version of FF4) so its a good buy.
