Hey guys, During my trip to Japan a few years ago I visited the Artnia Cafe just outside the Square Enix building. After my visit I have always wished that Square Enix had Cafe's here in the states for Final Fantasy like they have in Japan (Eorzea Cafe & Artnia). This got me thinking about what I would like to have for a FF themed Cafe if I were ever lucky enough to be blessed by Square Enix to start my own. Personally, I always thought it would be cool to do a Cafe called Balamb with throwbacks to FF8 and a few life size sculptures of Squall and crew or even a summon like Shiva. Possibly serve the world famous Balamb Hot Dogs! I think Balambs futuristic and clean look would make a cool cafe. With that said, what would you guys want for your own FF themed Cafe? What would its name be? Sandwhiches? Drinks? Art? Life sized statues of? What Final Fantasy would you base it off of or what city? Picture of the worlds greatest life sized statue EVER. Just to get some creative juices flowing...

I heard that they removed that Sephiroth statue recently That is correct. It wasn't at Artnia and I was very disappointed because i was really really reallllly looking forward to getting my pic taken with Sephiroth. When Square Enix moved its headquarters from downtown Shibuya? to the Eastside Shinjuku, the SE Showcase got closed and they built Artnia Cafe. Sephiroth did not survive the move. But im sure some lucky bastard gets to have that Sephiroth sitting in the floor or wall of his house somewhere.....

I heard they moved it because some people complained that it was scary and creeped them out or something.

That looks like a really amazing experience! Thank you for the picture…may I ask what alcohol was in those beverages? They look super tasty. The States needs a gamer based cafe!

It was indeed amazing. I had to look up what was in Shiva and Ifrit. Dont know much about making drinks but here ya go: Shiva: This is a short cocktail with the aroma of lychee. Contains white rum, blue curaçao, lychee, and lemon juice. Ifrit: This is a long cocktail with orange and blackcurrant flavors. Contains white rum, white curaçao, orange juice, and crème de cassis.

Would be epic, i could only imagine how much money you could make if you could open something like this here, maybe like in New York or another major city :-) Also seriously down to travel there sometime, i never been to Japan before and it would be fun, plane ticket is pricey but not unreasonable. Also would be down to see what Sushi in Japan is like...not to mention kinda enjoy them old monster movies so sure there would be a lot to enjoy there.
