So you've mentioned that you both had GFs in the past and roommates currently. Have you ever had problems with hair in the sinks or showers clogging up the drains with someone elses hair other than your own?
Isn't it gross to have to unclog the drain with your roommate's or GF's hair?
Just wondering because I often notice that the biggest arguments among roommates and GFs/BFs in a house are usually stuff relating to cleanliness of the bathrooms or rooms and food related stuff.

I lived with a girlfriend once who would take all of the strands of hair and put them on the walls of the shower. So when the shower dried, you'd have all these long hairs stuck on the wall. For some reason that really got to me. When we broke up, that was my "Well you know what?! That thing you do with your hair is really gross." Like that guy from Seinfeld who says what no one should say when people break up.

I always had to take the shower nozzle and spray off the wall to get the hair off lol. Why do people do this?

Use a drain guard, used to do a lot of plumbing work and one of the most constant jobs i got was cleaning out hair clogs. I usually gave them a free drain guard and the problem disappears as it catches the hair before it enters the pipes therefore much easier to clean.

I have a drain guard but even with a drain guard you have to reach down and pick it up and throw the hair on it away... Its unpleasant when its not even your own hair and is from the last person that took a shower. I'm fine with cleaning my own hair off the drain guard though.

Well that shines a whole new light on the issue, if someone is not even willing to clean up after themselves, and if you made it simple by having a drain guard. It is not a plumbing issue more a being considerate issue, my recommendation is every time you find hair on the drain before you use it collect the hair and start killing people and whenever you do so sprinkle the hair on the corpses.....bam wait a few weeks until the cops come to arrest the assholes, problem solved. If you are not willing to committee murder your best bet is talking to them in a polite calm and collected fashion. If you have already done that and they still persist....my advise then is to kick them out if you own the place, or simply find better roommates.
