I was thinking back the other day to when I saw I think the 2nd Charlies angles movie when one rolls down a hill naked (sort of) and pops up in some kids back yard. The problem I had was they had 2 boys each holding a controller playing FF8 when its only a single player game but my friends thought I was just a geek lol. It led me to think, have you seen FF in any other movies?

I do remember that, and I mentioned it to my girlfriend at the time. I basically got the same response... But I haven't seen any other movies where a Final Fantasy game is being played. I may have to search online for others.

I once read that there was a clip of one of the games in Signs, but idk if that's accurate... Not a bad idea... Certainly if others spot anything this could be a cool segment.

I'm also not sure if the director even knew what Final Fantasy was but If I was working on a set and somebody said, "well these kids need to playing atari or something in this scene. Hey kid, go find me a mario to put on this Teleradio"! I would most likely put up a Final Fantasy. But I also remember seeing that and thinking this is clearly the set scene in this movie!!!!

How about spot the ff game....in another game? In Secret of Evermore (Another Square game), when you go to Ebon Keep, you meet a shopkeeper/inkeeper who sells powerful equipment. When you talk to him, he tells you that you may have heard of him, and his name is Cecil from Baron Castle. He even asks if you've heard of his victory over Zeromus! Gotta love a shameless plug!

Sounds awesome. I think Kaleb already mentioned this in the show but in Deus ex: Human Revolution there are posters for ff 30.

In Kingdom Hearts, the small figurine inside Ariel's Grotto will play a melody from the Final Fantasy VII Soundtrack "Who Am I?"

in Borderlands 2 there are 2. In the challenge section go to melee, one is called "A Squall Of Violence" and the other is in the Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon keep DLC. The New-U stations occasionally say "consider me your own personal phoenix down"
