I know i'll grab a Ps4, but I don't see a super solid reason to get a Vita.

You can play Final Fantasy 1-10/10-2 on the Vita. As of now its the only console/handheld where you can play basically all the games. Then it has Dissidia1-2 and Tactics on it.
Also Branny Persona 4 Golden for the Vita is great and Ys Memories of Celceta is a good game too.

I have one too! I specifically picked one up so that I could play FFVII through FFX on it. And I did! I've been playing through all the main games in order and I just finished FFX about a month ago. The vita is a nice little system for portable RPGs.
I haven't really even scratched the surface of other Vita games, I've mainly used it for Final Fantasy so far. I do want to get around to trying Persona 4 Golden and Danganronpa soon.

If they come out with some "must have's" I'll probably pick it up. But as of right now, I own nearly every Final Fantasy game, and know many others with the harder to get RPG's. But perhaps... I do enjoy the design and the graphical capabilities...

There are a ton of PS Classics games you can play on the Vita. I've used mine to play more PS One classic games than I've used to for playing Vita exclusive games. It's awesome having all these PS One era games on a device that's portable.

I have a PS Vita, and I have all the Final Fantasies on one memory card.
Sly was a PS+ game a while back, so I have that.
PS+ name is MechaMessiah if you want to add a friend.

I was going to wait until after Christmas unless an awesome Christmas deal came along. Strangely enough, the one I was watching on Amazon actually went up 50 dollars in price. I have my eye on the Borderlands set for 199. The reason I am waiting is because I know I will be busy with Theatrhythm, Phoenix Wright, Conception II, and Persona Q for awhile on my 3DS.
Where do you recommend I get one, Branny or anyone? Is the 199 bundle on Amazon a good deal?
******UPDATE*****
I guess on Sunday Gamestop dropped an online discount on the Vita/Borderlands bundle. I check deals.kinja.com religiously, but not on the weekends. Say what you will about Kotaku, but the commerce team made a post about the Sunday deal since the Vita has not gone on sale since Black Friday last year. I went to check Amazon's price matching policy and found out that they do not price match most items. Looking longingly at the Vita/Borderlands bundle on my wishlist, I noticed that Amazon dropped the price to match Gamestop.
I now own a Vita. Looks like a good time to buy folks.
But now I have to wonder how long I will actually play Conception II and Phoenix Wright. I may have to play P4 or FFIX as soon as the Vita arrives.

But yeah, I will get P4 and I love the music, so yes, I will get Dancing All Night even though every bone in my body (yes, even that one) tells me not to.

It was okay, but it wore thin on me. the game had no difficulty curve. and Phoenix Wright is always fun. Are you playing the PW/PL crossover?

I am going to play the Trilogy that gets released today as an eShop only title. I was going to pick up the crossover, but noticed this the trilogy advertised and held off.
