Improvements? Additions? Subtractions? Ideas for future episodes or segments?

Improvements?
I really liked those live 1st time reaction trailers you guys did for the podcast, would like to hear more reaction to new trailers in the future. It was really unique and cool.
Additions?
hmm, not really sure. I really like the quiz thing FF Union does but as you said you can't copy them... but something similar would be really cool. Maybe a contest where a bunch of the listeners (only listeners) can create a 1 minute FF related music remix for the show and have them all featured on an episode and at the end of the year you guys pick the winner or something.
Maybe ask some of the listeners to draw some fan art or a logo for the podcast and whoever wins at the end of the year gets their logo chosen to be the one for the podcast in 2016.
Subtractions?
nothing really I like the current layout and format of the show.
Ideas for future episodes or segments?
Interview with people involved with the FF series professionally or just some from the fandom. When you guys went to Las Vegas for the FF14 event was cool but it would have been nice if you could have recorded in a hotel room and invited some of the FF14 attendees to join in and talk too or ask questions. Maybe in the future if you guys go to any Cons you could do a panel or just record a podcast there and invite some FF fans you see around for the podcast.
Just stuff involving the fandom mostly.

Once we get a little bigger, that would be an option. I feel like it would have proven difficult to bring any of the producers or the director of XIV back to a Motel 6...

If quizzing the listeners is out of the question due to FF Union, what about doing it the other way around? Maybe have an episode (or part of an episode) where an outside person quizzes each of you guys on FF questions that we post here. If you were to create a thread for that, obviously none of the hosts could check it out before the episode, but it might be fun to have somebody like MechaMessiah read off questions that the forum posed to the two/three hosts in a quiz format like how union does it. I don't know if anybody is familiar with family feud, but I remember in that show they send one family member away so they can't hear the questions while the other family member answers, then they flip flop. It could be similar with the hosts. I guess it could be fun for the forum to try to stump you guys, but I don't know if it would work as a recurring section in the podcast or just one episode or occasional episode. Obviously you would need enough questions posted, but I didn't see many other ideas come up so I thought I'd throw it out there.

More information/reviews of non-digital final fantasy stuff. I enjoyed the discussion about the food during the cooking episode. Please don't cook in real time, but a montage of curses and hilarity would be appreciated.
I think a character draft followed by vote-driven battles would be fun. It could be drawn out or smashed into a month.
Drawn Out Sample Schedule Week1: Announcement of "Power 16" and introduction of "Joe" and "Kaleb" leagues, their "histories", and the animosity that drove them to this battle. Week2: Eligibility Pool announced (with/without feedback from forum). Week3: Draft Results announced. First pairing announced. Voting begins. Week4 and on: Battle results announced (and possibly embellished with silliness) and next pairing announced. Battles could alternate between leagues. FinalWeek: Final battle results announced. What it means for the universe at large, etc. Feedback request.

Totally stolen from the Fear The Boot Podcast. They did three of them, but have probably not done one this decade. Just 2007, 2008, and 2009 I believe.

I a strange request. When you guys get to Final Fantasy X-2 eventually could you do a rock cover parody version of this song sung from Yuna's perspective? LOL

Something I would like to see comes from your episodes where you have completed one of the games in particular then discuss it at length; What about talking about an aspect of the game series (such as the world, or the battle system, the magic system or weapons or something) and how that compares across two or more of the games. I'm not entirely sure how much time this would take up but I think that would be interesting.
This one would probably be for further down the line, after you have all played through most of the main titles; highlights of hilarious dialogue because as we know, there are plenty of examples that may well just be results of poor translations.
Your reaction casts to trailers etc have always been great I have to say and I thoroughly enjoyed the episodes about Advent Children and Last Order so far as what I think should be subtracted; nothing. I'm not saying everything is perfect but it's great to hear you covering things like this that are from the game universe but not the games themselves.
I'm sure I could think of more, the more I listen to some of the older episodes.

I would like to see your episodes structured in a similar way to your FF4 episode. In that episode you guys gave a brief walkthrough of the game. I think a structure like this will open up to a more in depth discussion of some of the games high and low points. I was also a fan of the cooking episode, but I think that should have video along with it!

When you start doing spinoffs or side games, please compare/contrast them to the main series games they are related to, but also reference other titles that were released during the gap between the spinoff and the main title and how those other titles may have influenced the spinoff game.

I know there have been a few crossover games like Dissidia and whatnot, but an ultimate team up might be a neat episode. A dimensional shift could merge all of the final fantasy worlds, bringing villains and heros from all games together. What would be your dream team and what could they do to avoid any cheesiness? What would be the preferred battle system? Three player parties? Four? Or even five like in FF IV? I've spent way way too long envisioning a game like that. Imagine my dissointment in Dissidia. . .
