Great series but you should start with Ys Seven since its the best in the series and the best one for newcomers to join in. Will I have trouble going back to the older gameplay mechanics after playing a more recent entry first? And follow up question, will there be story plot points that I'll miss having not played the older games first? Nope the series is kinda like FF where each game takes place in a new world with new characters and other games and characters or worlds like never get mentioned. Only thing that is the same in each game is the main character Adol who is the red headed hero for the series and he travels to find new adventures. |

Lightsage do you happen to have either omegaruby or alphasapphire? I was thinking of picking up either my X or omegaruby again soon but I can't decide if/which I want to play. I think I like omega ruby better than X although gen VI in general has been fantastic overall, especially compared to the garbage that was Gen V Personally, I got Alpha Sapphire. And I say you should play whichever game you want. I started playing Y again as a Nuzlocke, but failed, so I'm just playing it normally now. I also know that if I ever forked over the money to own Omega Ruby as well, I'd be fine playing it again. Just kind of wish there were not so many water-related HMs. In Alpha Sapphire, the water Pokemon on my team got completely loaded down with HMs and turned into a HM slave.  Oh I meant I have alpha sapphire I just couldn't decide if I wanted to play that again or go with my X. I've never done a nuzlocke file because it would frustrate me too much but it sounds like a real challenge. I'd say I prefer ORAS over XY but both are fantastic |

Has anyone started playing the free PlaystationPlus game for this month, called Ether One? I'm really enjoying it so far! Problem is, it's in need of a major patch because it freezes a lot and is super glitchy. I haven't done the research but it seems like it was ported to the PS4 from PC. Anyways, it's gorgeous and the music is great and I'm intrigued! It plays a lot like Myst.

I just got Mario Kart 8 delivered from Game Fly. Hasn't had much of a chance to play yet, but it's fun.

I just got Mario Kart 8 delivered from Game Fly. Hasn't had much of a chance to play yet, but it's fun. MK8 is fun I kinda like MK7 a little bit better but they are lots of fun to play online. |

Just started a Vanilla WoW clone. I get the MMO bug once in while. I know, I should be playing FFXI, but my computer will not run it (no graphics card). My fat ps2 died, or I would be playing it on there.
Already bored of WoW, though. I just like to pop on and see familiar places for a day and then leave it behind. I could go back to playing InFamous or P4 Golden, but this might be the time to finally play those GTAIV side games.
