So i got ff13 on steam and you can imagine my surprise when i found out it was 50 FUCKING GIGS!

Yep I got it too, I was like... errr ma gerd! not only that, my first downloaded cocked up so I had to do it twice! I will admit though I am actually enjoying the game so far, yes it is fairly linear I will admit and they put wayyy too much of the story in "data logs". I will probably get stoned for this but I am gonna say it... I love Vanille and Sahz!  |

I have played the game before which is why I bought it on steam. This game though is bigger than ff 14 and elder acrolls online combined. The reason is all the cut scenes.

I wasnt surprised actually. Despite what alot of fans say about 13's gameplay and hallways, its graphically one of the most beautiful looking games..so naturally it would need lots of space. 50gbs is rather much though..

Yeah but it all the cut scenes. So many cut scenes. Think about it this way skyrim is 6 gigs.

Skyrim is kinda simple compared to 13's mega scenes and areas. Ill just stick to my ps3 version with laggy loads.

True. Skyrim doesn't have the super high definition cut scenes like 13 does.

I know skyrim isn't loaded with cut scenes, but it is a large game. Without the cutscenes ff13 is still like 10 gigs which is still huge.
