Hey guys! My name is Sam and I found the podcast through a good old search of Final Fantasy in the podcast app. Most of the others were either dead or boring! I live in Belfast in Northern Ireland, work selling computers and love me some Final Fantasy! lol. My favourite Final Fantasy would have to be... Final Fantasy IX. I think it had the right balance of world maps, random encounters and a story that was complex but not ridiculously unfollowable. The others from the PlayStation era were good, and Final Fantasy VII is amazing but IX's characters had a little extra charm I think.

I really liked IX when I played through it. I remember the final boss killing all of my party members except Dagger. She couldn't be touched. I basically beat the final boss with my white mage... Good game.

I think I went cheap for the final boss lol. Carbuncle summon to get loads of buffs then just went to town. I need to play it again! The podcast is totally putting me in the mood to replay the good ones!

Hey All,
My name's Gammon. I teach international students (TESOL). The title of Favorite bounces between 6, 9, and 10. I recently discovered that I do not play pen and paper RPGs anymore, so I was looking for a video game podcast to fill the hole left by the RPG podcasts I used to participate in. I started with a couple of Persona podcasts. A guest host on one of those podcasts mentioned FFU/KHU. I listened to them for a while, but was still missing a certain something. I did an iTunes search for Final Fantasy, and after looking at dates to see who was still active and who was not just FFXIV, I noticed this podcast which seemed to be doing the games in order. I recently got turned onto a Podcast called Mission Log which is doing the same thing for Star Trek. I figured that UFF was what I was looking for. After listening to how you guys operate and comment, I was sold.

Must get better with age. It'll be fun replaying it, I know that much.

Good afternoon forum dwellers.
My name is Ryan, but I think I told the forum bots my name was MechaMessiah, so we'll go with that! I do live in the states, and have been playing Squaresoft games since 1999, when I got my PlayStation. Since then, I have played many (but not most, we can blame stubbornness on my behalf to not play some) Final Fantasy games, and find the conversation to be had about the games always inviting and full of new perspective.
I, like others here, was searching for a new Podcast to listen to, and after one episode I was hooked, so I expect to go back and listen to your previous ones the rest of this week at work.
Ordering Final Fantasy games is hard, because sometimes it all depends on the mood that I'm in that dictates which game to me is better. However, that being said, here is my list:
8 14 9 7 10 11 6 4 5 3 12 1 2
8 is my nostalgia-induced number 1, because that is the first game that I played in the series, and playing it along side a friend playing it at the same time was the perfect way to play. 14 is number 2 if only because it's one of the few MMORPG that has kept my interest for over a year, and I continually am still playing (Leviathan Server if there's anyone else out there)
I hope to be engaged in some more conversation when it happens. Keep up the good work on the Podcast!
