Thought I would repost the ones I had in the other thread.
new trailers or videos of the week segment. FF fan of the week segment Question of the week segment (you ask us listeners 1 question and read the answers next week, discuss and then ask another question for the next week)
Anyone else have any other ideas for segments? Share them here.

If you guys do make it to 75$ for Patreon (I am in the process of setting up my donation), maybe pick one question per week as a "Featured Discussion" and have the person who posed the question phone in and be a part of the discussion.

I posted an off the rails segment in this same subforum.
Something Random that just popped into my head was 'The Final Fantasy Challenge."
I have no idea what it means, but maybe it will spawn something.

Like beat Shinryu FFV optional boss that week or Chronodia optional boss in FF1 and see who can complete the challenge? Or maybe a minigame challenge?

You guys reference the forums quite a bit why not pick a favorite thread to discuss briefly.

You guys reference the forums quite a bit why not pick a favorite thread to discuss briefly. they sorta do that with the questions and review segments already though

Give all of us addicts more reason to pump time into these games. The game is not over until I 100% it! Since shinryu and omega weren't hard enough they added uber versions in the gba and mobile versions. Just another reason to grind everybody to max levels...

Of the Final Fantasy Challenge could be the hosts trying to do something Final Fantasy-ish in real life. Something silly and fun that we can listen to them report on. If the listeners do it, I don't think that will create enough content to discuss. Forum content, yes.

Maybe they can audio record themselves walking up to random people and asking Final Fantasy related questions and get a reaction lol. Like walk up to someone at the supermarket "Hey what are your thoughts on Tidus and Yuna as a couple?" or "I'm trying to breed a chocobo and its hard right?" and "Do you think Sephiroth is a bad guy?"

Hah, the man on the street thing seems hilarious.
I was also thinking of trying a What Would (character) Do challenge.
These seem funny, but I don't know if it will generate the review content they are looking for. I think they want something to do or see so that they can discuss their reactions on the show.
I thought about the Final Fantasy and Philosophy book would be a cool tie in, but that would just be a show or series of shows, not something that could be a regular segment.
Final Fantasy's impact on real life? We may need to expand beyond Final Fantasy, maybe as broad as going to Video Games in general. Maybe a segment along the lines of "From Cyber Space to Meat Space: Virtual content's impact on the physical world" or am I just letting academic words spew forth? The guys could just say "Let's get Meaty!" *Kaleb "mmm"ing in the background*

^ For the Final Fantasy impact real life segment it would be best if they visisted future game related conventions and talked to other FF fans.

Once they reach the MMO Final Fantasy games I think they should do a weekly update section on their progress. MMOs lend themselves more to discussion across many episodes and level ranges. It's different from the other Mainline Final Fantasy games where it makes sense to finish the game and discuss it as a whole.

Chatter could be encouraged in the show description part of the forum by addressing it on the show. The segment could be a look back at last weeks discussion or what the Forum members have been saying about topics on the show. Each week the hosts look at the forum thread for the previous weeks show and discuss.
