I'm excited to get my hands on a Final Fantasy game that has never been released here before. I'm planning to play on day 1.
Is anyone else grabbing it and playing through it immediately?

Downloaded and started playing Type-0 last night!
I have a handful of minor gripes, but I really like the game overall. All my gripes come from the fact that it's a mobile game that's been ported, so nothing major.
I really like the more mature setting and grittiness of the world. It feels like actions might actually have consequences. I'm only 3 hours in, so we'll see how I feel when all is said and done.

FF Agito was the mobile game and that is coming out soon.

So... I kinda didn't like Type-0. I got it on release day and played it up to Chapter 3. I traded it in for DMC Difinitive Edition on Thursday last week.
My issue is that it still plays like a PlayStation Vita game. If they released it on PlayStation Vita I think I would enjoy it a lot more.
For example; take Acedemia. There are about 10 different areas, but there is a loading screen between each one..! On a PlayStation Vita that makes sense. On PlayStation4 not so much.
I really really really wanted to love it, but just didn't. I'll get it again when it's in the bargain bin or pick it up preowned, but it wasn't worth the £45 I spent on it.

I like it so far. There are times when it is clearly a PSP port (some of the NPC's aren't very well done), but overall it's pretty good. In the middle of Chapter 5, and the story is pretty good so far. Nine's dialogue is HORRIBLE, though. My girlfriend and I laugh pretty much every time he talks. I like the battle system, and I like that each character handles a bit differently. Though I don't like how I have to level up 14 Freaking party members whenever it's time to grind... My only other gripe is that I can't take on more than 1 "Task" at any given time. It's a pain when I'm about to complete one, but I have to cancel it if I want to take on another one that I've already done the task for. If that makes sense. Overall, I think it's a solid game, though

My friend is playing the whole game on his PS Vita through remote play on his ps4. The game runs great thanks to the new remote play update.

I'll have to remember that when I pick it up next time!
