My friend is playing the whole game on his PS Vita through remote play on his ps4. The game runs great thanks to the new remote play update. That... Is ingenious. I'll have to remember that when I pick it up next time! I used remote play a bunch while I was playing through Type-0. It definitely fits better on the Vita than it does on PS4.

A lot of people complained back when it was announced for PS4/Xbox instead of Vita because they all expected SE to port it since it was just a PSP game.

I feel like it would have been a better fit as a native Vita game, but I'm sure it wouldn't have sold as much. The Vita install base isn't as large and active as the PS4. I understand why they did it the way they did.

I just started playing today. Got the collectors guidebook with it for fun. The game stop in town gave me the stand up for type 0.. too bad it sits in the hallway for now.

I doubt the Xbox One version received a lot of sales and Vita fans would have probably bought the game more than the people that own an Xbox.

I would have loved to have the option of picking this up on PS4 or Vita. I definitely would have gone the Vita route.

So I've played Type-0 a few times and honestly...I'm having a hard time with it :/ I understand that it's not a typical RPG but I don't like it. It's too fast paced for me and half of the time I have no clue what's going on, especially with the storyline.

Finished it about a week or so ago. There were way too many story elements that they planted and then never paid off, and many things that were never planted earlier that ended up being HUGE plot points later in the game. The story takes a COMPLETE left turn at the last hour of the game, and some of the twists come out of NOWHERE (and not in a good way).
I REALLY liked the overall gameplay mechanics, but I wish the story was more... Cohesive. Anybody else feel that way?

I think about 30 hours for the main story, but I also did a lot of extras. Maybe 25 or so if you're just plowing through it? Afterward, about 5 hours of cleanup to get the Platinum - so 35 hours total

From some of the opinions on this game it makes sense why SE took so long to release it in the states. I haven't played it yet myself, but from what I've been told it's a different experience from the FF games I'm used to. Still looking forward to giving it a shot though.

Did you enjoy the final boss that was similar to the FFX final boss? *cough* autolife and revival *cough*
