Anyone still have a hard copy of FFVII? Lately it seems most fans just want to have virtual copies of most older games. I still have my black label copy from years and years ago on my PS1 shelf.
I recently noticed that copies of VII have dropped in price after the release of the new pc version. Interesting..

I do, and so does Joe. He's just playing it on the PC out of curiosity. I have played the entire series on my Ps2 so far.

The new pc version is decent. Few new updates and all. I actually have to admit that i first played ff7 on my old windows 98. I bought the ps1 version a few months later cause controller>keyboard. I also recently learned that old pc version in box is very rare. Stupid kid me threw it away a few weeks after..for some reason.

Maybe the price has dropped since it was released on psn and probably more since it came out on steam. I have three copies of FF7 hard copy, psn, and steam which I am playing it on now. I also still have hard copies of ff8 and ff9.

My prized final fantasy copy is ff9 with the colored manual. The reprints only had black and white. Horrible..

Colored 8 & 9 are nice, though 7 still has the best packaged manual.

I still have VII, VIII, IX, and both the FF Chronicles and FF Anthology on PS1. I have found that I like playing these games digitally on the PSP lately because of the option of putting the system in a sleep state, allowing me to start and stop playing whenever I want. Nothing beats the original PS logo when you start up the originals though!
