Been a lot of Esquestria Girl watching in the house this month. My daughter and I found the three music videos Hasbro released some time ago. So those and a constant streaming of YouTube videos of all the songs has been my constant background noise. I have suddenly become an expert on true true friends, wrapping up winter, and being as awesome as I want to be.

I can't even lie. Giggle at the Ghostie and Smile Smile Smile are just...so much win.

For mlp I saw a little of the original and it was not for me. I have not seen the the new version. As for Evangeline. I watched the whole series for the sole reason being in the loop when people talked about it back in school, and I recall it really bumming me out and it started to creep me out towards the end.

Friendship Games came in the mail today. It was gr-... I mean, my daughter seemed to really enjoy it.
We ended up buying the three-movie collection since it only ended up being 5 bucks more than just getting the third movie by itself. We also got the Art of Equestria book. It's a great purchase if you are interested in the evolutionary steps from concept to cartoon. It also takes a look at some of the 80's art and shows how the characters changed.
I am a sucker for big art books. When we got our first house, I literally covered the coffee table in coffee-table books. No one comes over here, though, so now they are all sitting happily on a shelf (browsed often). Dali, FF, Persona, Inu Yasha, and a some random anime art collections are putting some serious pressure on my poor Ikea shelves.

I'm also kind of behind on recent episodes, been gaming and reading a lot lately. I also love big art books, anything art in general really- the only one I have on "display" is the 3 book collection of Final Fantasy art from Amano, "The Sky". Since a majority of my living room is devoted to gaming stuff, it gets it's own shelf on a little bookstand I have. Nerdy homes forever.
