The friend had never played Final Fantasy, they were just so damn excited to show me the article. Like hey, Final Fantasy made Vice News! This is that game you like right? So I didn't have the heart to tell them that this...isn't exactly what we're like. Anyone who reads or follows Vice though, knows that this is what they deal in. The craziness.

That was one weird article... This isn't the first time I've heard of this story its a legend that gets reposted constantly on sites for the past few years. I'm familiar with Vice news but lol the first time I heard the story I thought it was strange and that it could be a hoax or urban legend like the creepypastas on the internet.
Also as an FF7 fan one part of the article annoyed me...
"Somewhat stranger was Joanna's habit of insisting he call her Jenova villain from the game and speaking as if she were the character."
Maybe I'm wrong but we NEVER hear Jenova aka the real actual Jenova ever speak in FF7 So we don't really know how her voice is or how she would speak.

Yeah Joanna has the crazyness of sephiroth in her but man. Got no voice box so how do you know what she sounds like.

Just my opinion but those pictures looked a little TOO staged, like it was more of a grasp for attention. That didn't look like the stinky slum house the article talked about. I grew up in a single-wide, (not even one of those fancy double-wides!) and that house looked a little too put together to be as bad as the article made it sound. Maybe it's true, but if that's the case someone totally hit the sephiroth koolaid a little too hard...

This brings up too many memories of trying to hide the fact that I played video or table-top role playing games when I was younger. I might as well complete the feeling and go watch the Judas Priest trials on YouTube again.
