So for the past 3 1/2 weeks I have been keep myself focused on doing a long powerwalk or slow jog in the local park near my neighborhood. So was a little curiosity about ways to train for a Marathon Or triathlon and was wondering of anyone elese has done and marathons to focus on getting in shape. I plan to do marathons in the future.

I know nothing about this personally, but have heard many a friend mention using a program called "Couch to 5K" It's supposed to be a great way to train for a marathon without burning yourself out.
