Ok based on some of your glowing recommendations for sense8 I ended up watching it on a binge. Holy crap this a great show. Way better than powers on play station this is how you should do superpowers or mutants in a modern style. I seriously look forward to the next season. Really don't like mr. Whisper. My favorite character would definitely be noemi and sun. Man sun kicks solo much ass. And she looks good doing it.  LOL probably my 2 favorite characters too. Sun is really good she's in that other Wachowski movie Cloud Atlas. You know after being a part of this forum and getting to know joe and Caleb I have been noticing that I am looking out for more and more directors. Apparently I looked up the films the wachowski's have been doing and I did not know that the films that they made were some my top movie picks of all time. I absolutely love cloud atlas that movie is worth 3 hours of my time and more. Did not know sun from Sense8 was in it until I realized cloud atlas in the future has her. Love these fa so much now. |

Anyone watch Rick and Morty? Saw two episodes on a trip. I loved it, but we don't have access to it at home. It's on my list of DVD sets to eventually pick up. |

Has anyone seen Carnivale? I recently gained access to an HBOGo account (that's truly loving someone right there, sharing HBOGo access) and have begun to watch this series.
And by begun to watch, I've watched the fist episode. It's very interesting, even though I've never been one for period pieces.
Except for Twin Peaks. I'd count that as a period piece now- they use such delightful phrases as "Get them on the horn!" and hot-to-trot.

Ooo! Carnivale! You've got such a swell friend to give you access. There are a couple of really good shows on there.
I first watched Carnivale right after it had aired. There is a big long story about how that show was dramatically altered, but no spoilers. Brother Justin is a really well thought out character.
