I can't wait for it! Hopefully they make some of the changes so the game can fulfill it's potential. I doubt they can do it because it will involve chopping up the game quite a bit, but I really like Joe/Kaleb's idea about focusing the story on Basch. I'll play it anyway just because it will look better but we can hope for anything.

It sounds like it's only false because the said it would be a "remake," and Arnie Roth's contraction simply said that this was inaccruate. IGN is saying that it most likely means that they're doing a Remaster (Which I think is what most of us want, anyway).
I'm sure Square will release some info at Gamescon this week.

I heard this morning that the announcement may have been false.... Its only false for the few people that thought remake = FF7 style remake for FF12. Instead they meant "Remaster" like what they did with FFX HD. I understood what Arnie meant so there was no confusion from me but I guess some people actually thought remake meant an actual remake which wouldn't make sense if they just announced a remake for FF7 and FF12 isn't exactly popular enough as other FF games to get a real remake yet lol. gematsu.com/2015/08/final-fantasy-xii-remake-term-remake-used-errorThe announcement isn't false though. |

Guess I need to wait a bit to do my play through of 12. A remastered version would be nice if they put it on the Ps4 or pic. Looking toward to it.
