Hi All. My name is Paul and I am from Portsmouth, UK.
Discovered the podcast a couple of months back and have listened to most of the backlog already (up to FFXII). Very interested in the next "History of SquareEnix" episode.
My first FF was VII which I bought on the PSone back in 1997 on launch. I fell in love straight away and played through twice. I then got VIII and IX upon their subsequent launches but never did finish. The end boss in VIII got me and I have never got round to playing through again. I finished X on the PS2 and am about to finish again on the PSVita (on the Sin boss now - just killed both arms). Looking for inspiration as to which one I should tackle next. I have also previously finished Crisis Core (I wish they would release thet on the PSN). My Favourite is probably VII as it was the first one I played. I do love VIII and IX also but X will be 2nd in my rankings. I have played lots of I, although haven't finished yet (got a little bored) and have played a little of the others.
I have the following:
FF I - IOS
FF II - IOS
FF III - IOS
FF IV - IOS (and after years)
FF IV Complete - PSVita
FF V - IOS
FF VI - IOS
FF VII - PSVita
FF VIII - PSVita
FF IX - PSVita
FF X HD Remake - PSVita
FF X2 - PSVita
Dissidia 012 - PSVita
FF Tactics - PSVita
FF Tactics - IOS
FF Record Keeper - iOS
FFXIV - PC (got on first launch but not currently subscribed)
i I did have XII when I had a PS2 and also XIII when I had a PS3 but no longer do.
i don't fancy x2 just yet and may go through either VI or IX. Is the iOS version of VI any different to the old PSone version? I may purchase the PSone version rather than play the iOS version.
i also have the bluray of Advent Children and DVD of Spirits within. I also have the full series of FF Unlimited on DVD.
its been a great series of Podcasts so far guys. The music each episode is sweet and I am now looking to start collecting some of the music cd's as a result. The background development research at the start is excellent and I find all that info so interesting. Keep up the great work!
