"Final Fantasy 16 Predictions" Segment has people send in their predictions or hopes for Final Fantasy 16, Like story, characters, setting, battle systems, overall mechanics, world design etc. Joe and Kaleb can read a few out and rate what they think of them.
This segment can run until either FF16 is announced or people stop sending in ideas.
Thoughts?

Not bad . I could probably speculate a lot on the next in the series.

I like it. Speculation could literally go on forever with something like this (or at least the 10 years of development that it'll have). Are we supposed to submit our predictions here or is this just saying what we think of the idea?

It was a suggestion for a segment on the UFF podcast, the speculation wouldn't really go on for 10 years, but until they announce, reveal and give details on the game, although the segment can then change to FF17 Predictions instead

Honestly I think we will start hearing about FFXVI around 2017 but we might get a teaser in 2016.
The FF6, Ff9 and FF12 team are the ones working on FFXVI and we haven't heard anything from them in a while and they usually focus on more traditional style FF games so I assume it will be turn based and probably in a fantasy and less scifi setting.

I hope its more steampunk/ff6/ff12 style, I don't think about turn based because that's not a thing square care for now, but the theme for me for Fantasy/ steampunk like ff6/ff9 are best.

How'd you know that they're working on it at the moment? Was there an announcement that I missed or is it just assumed since they've been absent elsewhere?

Its been touched on the past few years during interviews whenever Square Enix staff are asked about the future of the series and what the other team is doing. They haven't announced they are making FFXVI but they did mention they are working on new things for the series future etc. which means a new numbered game. the X, XIII and XV team need a rest soon so its the FF6,9 and 12 team's turn to release one. Nomura said something that FFXV won't have a classic style battle system but the next game done by the other team might be a return to form.
