Joe mentioned that he listens to a lot of podcasts. I am interested to know what they are, and if any of you are the same?
I started listening to audiobooks while driving to work or playing WoW. Then I moved to Rufus J. Fears TGC lectures, and discovered podcasting by looking up Brandon Sanderson. What got me hooked on podcasting was when a folk group I listened to at the local ten faire started an RPG podcast. It's been an interesting ride, but each podcast I add to my list seems to have a tenuous connection to the one before.
Here's what is in my current line up:

Some podcasts I like that I would suggest.
The Geekbox podcast (great geek podcast that talks about videogames, movies, tv shows etc.)
Retronauts (great guys that talk about retro games)
and if you want more FF podcasts there is also
Final Fantasy union podcast

The Indoor Kids on the Nerdist network is supposed to be game related. I have not given it a listen yet, but that is because I am already at capacity.

I also listen to Retro RPG Podcast. They are a couple of good ol' boys for sure, but they discuss some really good games.

Basically Dan Harmon (the creator of community) riffs with friends and local comedians. Then they play DnD towards the end of the show. It's recorded live at nerd melt comics in LA. Sometimes they tour, the documentary is about one such tour. |

I love Community such a great tv series. I still wonder why Big Bang Theory is so popular when Community is clearly the better geek show.
