Just curious what versions everyone thinks are the best.
For me its:
FF1 psp version
FF2 psp version
FF3 psp version
FF4 psp version
FF5 GBA version (has extra bonus content although the music is very bad quality) snes version is Japanese only and PS1 version has lower quality music but not as bad as GBA and loading times and slowdown but it has cgi cutscenes.
FF6 SNES version (also available on wii and wii u) best quality music but its censored. ps1 version has lower quality music but has cgi cutscenes and is uncensored. GBA version has lots of bonus extra content like FF5. FF6 is censored in the Celes torture scene and other stuff and the music is horrible quality.
FF7 ps1
FF8 ps1
FF9 ps1
FF10 HD (but original version the original music and not remastered ones, Besaid Island sounds better in the original ps2 version)
FF11 pc
FF12 ps2
FF13 ps3
FF14 PC
Oh and if you are playing the ps1 or PSP FF games its great to play on PS Vita because its portable and it has bilinear filtering settings and screen options so the games looks very very good at their original resolution on the vita screen.
