I listen to the podcast straight through. So far, the guys have reviewed games I have played. As I listen I reminisce about scenes from the game and occasionally have an "What!, I can do that?" moment. When they to games I have not played yet, I imagine the reverse will be true. I will be reminded of the podcast as I get to certain moments in the game.
I play games slow and don't imagine that my playing and the podcast will sync up. But I am planning on going back and playing 9, 8, 7, and 5 and when I do I am going to relisten to their respected episodes before and after my playthroughs.
Questions: Do any of you plan to relisten to episodes and/or replay games because of this podcast? Do any of you relisten to episodes? Hosts: Do you guys listen to your episodes? I found that I couldn't/didn't want to listen to episodes of podcasts I was on.

I only found this podcast a few weeks ago, but since then I've been listening in a completely random order. I'm one of many who started with the main game reviews. Once I finished those, I listened to the movies (Spirits Within and Advent Chikdren). After that I did the food episode, which was awesome. Now I'm going through whatever is left, minus the fan fic for now.
I plan on playing through V forward. I played IV on the PSP last year, before I found the podcast, and don't feel like playing it again. I've been playing V on my iPad, and it's totally worth it. It looks great and plays well. I'll play VI on my iPad as well. I might change up the order after that. Whenever VII and X/X2 come out for the PS4, I'll be playing those next. If it is really far off, I'll pick up VIII on steam. I just missed a half off sale though and that really made me grumpy. My girlfriend gave away my ps2, so that killed IX and XII. However, if XII comes out in any playable form, I'm all over that game.
I'll probably revisit some of the episodes. They are pretty entertaining. They are guys I'd see myself talking to in real life.

That's a bummer about the PS2. I love that machine an still use it as an extra media player. I hoe you get an opportunity to play IX in some form. Maybe Psn will release it on PS4 or some sort of collection disc. Or... does the PS4 play PS1 games?

The PS4 does not play PS games. I'm hoping that some final fantasy pops up on PS TV or PS now. I'd invest in either one to play IX or XII.
I suspect that if VII does well on PS4, that may pave the way for future releases.
