Dont get me wrong, I like the mini games in FF7, but to me it just seemed like they were throwing them in there to show off what their software could do. You have to admit that the snowboarding game seemed really out of place. Yes it did fell kinda out of place i agree but win or lose you didn't have to be successful at it to get through it, could have blindfolded yourself and still got through it and never have to play it again. I more then anything appreciate that they tried something new but didn't make you do it multiple times If you didn't like it you never had to play again and if you did like it you could :-) Know if they had tied your ability at those kinda games to getting something like a Final Weapon or a Character or a Boss then it gets me irritated. Either way i defentlly get where you are coming from but after seeing a few later games minigames, I can't help but love 7's in comparison. Yeah i been watching the lets plays of it.....not only is there an insane amount of space, but that space is widely empty. Which is such a bummer i plan to give it a try(as i owe it to the series who has given em so many great games). Lets hopping the story gives me enough to make it interesting.

Yeah but the timer is actually subjective because it is called "patience" For the benefit of the forum I'm being extremely sarcastic. FFXI is decent but there is WAY too much time spent walking across zones for missions. And people like to make fun of X, XII and XIII as being "walking simulators" lol I guess they never played XI.

Once you get to the area, so long as you touch the books or crystals, you can teleport to them later
