Trying to build a computer using parts and instructions for five different countries that do not have anything to do with one another. What. the. hell....
This is seriously the most convoluted, insanely over complicated sign up for a game I have ever played. I seriously suspect that they lost potential players because they could not set the freaking game up.

Does anybody know if I can play this on an Apple Computer (not running bootcamp)? Or a PS3 that is not backwards compatible? I'd love to get involved but I don't know if I can... :/

I'm actually surprised they didn't put it on mac at some point considering how old it is. Even Everquest 1 had a mac version. Is bootcamp not an option on your mac for some reason?

If you put a windows op system in windowes mode on the Mac you can play ffxi on a Mac but that is a dificult process.
