So as my city attempted to pull itself apart, I was stuck inside trying to avoid the pillaging. Luckily I took two days off to go back and sit on thesis reviews, but because of the riots I stayed home, not wanting to leave my family alone.
Anyway, this was a roundabout way, I was able to finally get further in VIII which I started during your VII review if that tells you how long it takes me recently. Does anyone remember how hard Ultima Weapon was? Holy shit, I died about eight times trying to kill the bastard.
Before I continue, I do level up in VIII. I don't want to sit there an attempt to keep him under levelled. It gets easier when you get Ultima and a lot of the Stat+60% stuff. Anyway, he hits for about 2,500, attacks pretty much twice in a row, and does Gravija which completely screwed my party. If Zell didn't have almost 200 speed, I would have never have beaten him. But other than that I was able to get Tonberry, Cactuar, Bahamut, and Eden.
Does anyone feel as if the Odel Lake quest or Pupu's quest is worth the time?
