Have you ever had a moment in a playthough of any ff game or spinoff where you put in a lot of work and you did not get what you wanted at the end or your expected end of the event. Ex. Include looking for single key in a dungeon after 4 days of playing and not get it to drop from an enemy. Or putting in a long long comment and then at the end the game froze and all the work you put in was gone.?

Another moment for me was when I was replying to a thread on the forums and someone updated the forums at the end of my comment before I could post it. The comment was 8 lines long. Fmffl.

Got 0:0:0 at chocobo racing and got really excited, then received a turbo ether and found out I literally did get 0:0:0 when you need less than that

Getting Pick Tails in FF4, can't even remember why i needed them anymore all i remember is the agony of killing hundreds of Flan Princesses and at a [0.4%] drop rate i never saw 1 drop.......it was after 3 days of this that i truly contemplated why I played these games. Lucky i play FF7 right after and recovered lol

Killing Yiazmat in FF12. I wasn't sure what I would get for killing him, but I put the time in grinding away anyway. Turns out it was a shitty "trophy" on the airship.

I'm notoriously bad for not saving my game, so there's been lots of instances where I've lost many hours of progress. It's such a bad habit but I'm like "meh saving takes like 30 seconds, I can't be bothered, I've played this game before, I'm not gonna die."
...and then I die and I yell.

It's like the more minor of inconveniences

Xenogears - Got through the sewers (NO Save points in there) and died at the boss. DAMMIT!!! To make things worse, it's a dreary maze.
So I decided to just power through it again, because I knew if I didn't, the game would never get played again. Worked my way through, got to the boss and the game FROZE. It was brutal. Just about threw the controller. Redoubling my discipline, I played through it AGAIN and finished it - And finished the game, too. I was so close to never playing that game again....

Tower of the Fanatics in FF6. Made it all the way to the top and forgot that the boss casts ultima at the end of the battle. Normally not a problem except I forgot to cast Life3.

Helped my brother through something on FFVII. To ensure be didn't lose the progress I made for him, I saved. By that time it was muscle memory and I accidentally saved over my game. Normally not a horrible problem, but that was my very first playthrough

Normally not a horrible problem, but that was my very first playthrough Ohhh man that sucks. I remember when I was playing ff6 on my ps3 and let it sit for a couple of days and then while I was playing another game the console hard froze on me so I had to reboot it and did not realize till after that all my save data would be erased T-T fmffl
