Since I already asked what your favorite non-Final Fantasy JRPG is, now I want to know what your favorite Western RPG is.
What is it?

My experience with WRPGS are limited, would have to say Dragon Age: Orgins it is dam awesome same as i hear the newest game Inquisition is.
Pretty sure there are more out there but that is really my only notable one i enjoy.

Oh... I misunderstood Western. All I could think of was Red Red Redemption, but that is not what you are looking for...
That adaptation of Lord of the Rings as a turn-based game was pretty fun.

I would second that, but I'm not sure who made it. I haven't played a lot of WRPGs before, so this question is a tough one. The Mass Effect games weren't bad.

I think for me the Mass Effect games are probably my favorite Western RPG. I may have spent more time in other games like Skyrim and open world RPGs, but the Mass Effect series is still my favorite.

I have heard a lot about Mass Effect but did not know if I would get into the Sci Fi aspect. Maybe after reading Forever War and Ender's Game, I will be ready to play it.

I liked how your choices had an impact on the game. It's what I thought FF8 was going to accomplish the first time I played it.

The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age was awesome. GODDAMN THAT SAURON FIGHT My buddy hated it because he thought it was basically Final Fantasy in the style of Lord of the Rings. EXACTLY!!!! but he did not like the idea of everyone running around using powers and "casting spells". That game was the best 1.50 I every spent.
