As much as I love the original game, I feel like war of the lions added more to the experience. When the time comes which version do you guys think the guys should play? Even though the PSP may be the remastered version. I say they should go old school and play the original PS1 one. agreed.....keep it old school on this one. |

I already own the ps1 version, so I'll go old school. Joe may be willing to pick it up for psp though.

The ps1 version is a little easier so Joe will probably play that one.

Please play the PSP version! I mean really there aren't THAT many differences between them aside from a couple new classes/characters/battles, but the biggest difference between them, and the one that makes the PSP version superior, is the translation!
The translation on the original PS version is really quite bad and it sucks because the script for that game is gorgeous. The PSP version fixes the translation and it is beautiful, probably the best script in the series in my opinion.

The iOS version of Final Fantasy Tactics had updates to fix all the slow down problems and more, it is now the "definitive" edition.

I'd say the newer polished WotL edition, but thier is 1 thing I'd have liked to check on the old version. Apparently cloud strife is godly in the original version. He was recalibrated in the new version to be more in line with the others but I'd like to see the godly cloud, as it is all my characters are 99 and pretty invincible now but you can get cloud in chapter 2 I think. Other than that EVERYTHING is better in the new version

You already get God in your party. The game-breaking Thunder God that is! From what I remember Cloud starts of incredibly weak, but if you're willing to level him and get his abilities/proper sword he is quite the powerhouse. I don't know if he's better than Cid or Beowulf though.

Cloud takes forever to level up by the time you get him.
