Alright. Thoughts about FFII? Anyone here even played this one?

I prefer FF1 over 2 simply because it had better music and better battle system.
2 had better characters and story. But I prefer Garland as a villain over The Emperor.
If FF2 had the battle system of 1 then I might like it more but the whole levelling up gameplay is too weird.
I beat it but I wish they didn't change the gameplay so much.
Minwu is awesome though.
Did anyone play the gba/psp version/mobile version that had a special 2nd story where you play as the characters that died?
Minwu and the others have their own story of their journey to Heaven and have to defeat the emperor.

Definitely wasn't a fan of the leveling up. It was a decent idea, but didn't work out at all.

Its not my favorite but its good. The psp version was very nicely done. The stat trick was fixed though..boo

Could you not even target your own teammates in the psp version?

Could you not even target your own teammates in the psp version? You can target them but the whole attack and nullify attack action trick doesn't work. There is a new glitch where you can use a shield and reflect strong attacks to hit one character but leave him at 1hp so you gain a lot of health early in the game. I never did it though. |

Which was a lot. Especially characters that were important. I think Minwu's was sad because he sacrificed himself so you could get Ultima spell. |

In my version Gus was called Guy.
Kinda like Bartz being called Butz in some versions.
Gus reminds me of Gus Gus from Cinderella though.

I think Gus captures the simplicity of the character better. Same with Buttz instead of Bartz.
