I believe all three girls were great in the game. They all had very stylish, sensual, and sometime unusual outfits. This thread was created to discuss these Garments. I think that my all-time favorite is the Berserker Dressphere. Once it is fully leveled up, you can get half a dozen attacks per a turn with a single Berserker with abilities like Counter, Magic Counter, and Evade and Counter. You can use Howl to double your HP. And if you are tired of just pressing "Attack" all the time, you can just make her go Berserk and thrash the fiends around for a few minutes on auto-pilot.

This is a pretty old thread I see but I would say the best dressphere is mascot. I switched to that midway through the Bevelle Via purifico floors and was blown away by how strong my characters were in it. Berserker was pretty awesome but I didn't like the visual style of it. Mascot definitely has the worst appearance but it's just too good to not use. Stylistically my favorite is probably dark knight. And with darkness, status immunities and black sky it's one of the best overall dresspheres too. It's just a shame they nerfed cat nip in this game or gunner would have been better.

Yeah, I was always thrown off by the changes, especially in X and X-2, between NA versions and Japanese versions. I would look up strategies on line for both games, only to find out that what I was reading only existed in the Japanese or PAL version of the game.
I changes take place in many games, but they seem more abundant in these two games.

I always have songstress on my sphere grids. The status ailments are very useful.

I see no one has been on here in a bit, but thought I'd throw my two cents in- in the X/X-2 HD, I absolutely love the Festivalist outfit. Dark Knight is still my favorite, but with Yuna's Sandals ability you can be casting Ultima pretty quick.
I thought the Trainer dressphere was just useless. Then again, I didn't use it a lot.

Loved FF10-2 a lot of people i found either hate it or love it for the most part but i found the dress-sphere system all around fun, felt like the old job change system of older FF games as well as the final dungeon on this game was pretty cool with a lot of great content(never beast it). The story on the other hand felt very loose and forced and with plenty of holes but whatever lol I enjoyed it overall. Got to say that the Mascot Spheres were my favorite they were just all around the most powerful and definitely not the coolest looking but in terms of strength they were epic.

I absolutely love X-2 as well contrary to alot of other people. The dress sphere system is one of my favorite job systems in the whole series, and the ultimate dress for each character were awesome (liked yunas the best). And i agree the story was not the best although i knew we could see tidus in the end and get that perfect ending that we all wanted so it was worth it. Vegnagun was a pretty bad ass boss too. As for dress spheres i loved the dark knight the best. Beserker and alchemist were awesome too |
