I randomly find it annoying when I am playing a song from FFVII and Seymour shows up as a boss.
I know it is such a small thing, but it would have been possible to limit characters to songs from the games they show up in. Especially if you are playing a boss song. It could easily be populated with monsters from the boss's dungeon or the monsters that lead up to the boss battle.
Just a small gripe, but something the hosts can bring up in a couple of years when they get to this part of Final Fantasy.

Well the game is kinda like Dissidia.
All FF universes meld together into one. So you have heroes and monsters from various games showing up and fighting each other in songs from games they were never in.
Just like in Dissidia you can have Cloud fighting Jecht in an FF8 world with FF9 music playing.
The story of the game is similar to Dissidia since it does bring Chaos and Cosmos into the mix.

This.
THis is different from the original Theatrhythm. The bosses were specific to the song and series, at least that's what I noticed. The random mobs were sometimes not consistent, but otherwise, when playing VII songs, you would only get VII bosses.
I thought it was quite a neat little feature, and noticed it gone this time around.

I don't know if I would be to annoyed at that, but I do find it pleasing that things would go together.

It's the mildest of annoyance.
More like OCD flare-up.

I hate when things trigger ocd in me. It doesn't happen often though.
