I got mine on the 1st try in my 1st playthrough.
On my 2nd playthrough I messed up though lol and I restarted the save.

Having the Jecht shot is the only way that I've ever won the Luca Blitzball tournament. So I always try to get it.

I think I got it. I have a Blitzball safe file somewhere from when I was trying to get everyone's weapons. 40 hours I blitzball (got weapon and reels) and hours if lightning dodging and chocoholic racing (lol, autocorrect - no weapons received).

Let's be honest, Blitzball is not about teamwork or strategy, or even scoring goals. The GOAL of Blitzball is to get the ball to Tidus and have him use Jecht Shot.

Brother becomes even more godly though. The plus about Tidus is the avoiding two defenders when shooting. But with Brother, I can just outrun everyone.

I thought the point of Blitzball was to score 1 point, then hide behind your goal until the clock ran out. Though, I could not get that bug to work in the PS3 version.

I couldn't get that bug to work either. So it was back to spamming the Jecht Shot as often as I could.
