Inspired by the previous question about which you would rather own...
Which format do you find yourself forgetting about?
Author Tracy Hickman mentioned in an interview that as we move into the age of digital media, it is good to have "artifacts". Both hosts mentioned wanting to having physical copies of favorite games and Hickman mentioned that he wanted to offer supporters a physical copy of the book he was kickstarting for the same reason.
I type this while surrounded by shelves of such artifacts. My favorite books over here, my favorite games over there. [suck it, comma splice]
I look around the room and remember enjoying these items, and what I was doing as I was enjoying these items. But some of you, especially for those of you who may be digital natives, may get the same feeling when you look at the list of games on whatever device you are using.
So, again, which format do you find yourself buying games in, but then promptly forgetting about or just sitting on? [take that, prepositions]
I tend to forget about digital media. I am currently sitting on 8 digital games and 4 demos, as well as, 5 kindle books.
