FF6 and 9 team are working on it. And that is why :-) I've been on forums where other FF fans are saying "I'm looking forward to FF16 more than FF15" lol

16 is probably what will get me to buy a PS4. Unless a PS5 with backwards compatibility is announced/hinted at before 16 comes out.

Awesome, thanks for the info! I've been playing games since the 8-bit days so playing a game with older graphics won't bother me at all. I agree with playing without a guide, I try to play all new games totally blind the first time through, and then on subsequent playthroughs when I'm going for 100% or whatever I'll look at guides, but it's way more fun when you don't know what to expect or what to do. I ordered the Legacy Collection last night Cool keep me updated on how it goes Okay Shinryu. The legacy collection finally arrived today. I think I might even start with the original Metal Gear since it's included. I'm going to start tonight

Nice! I used to speed run the original game while between favorite shows. I remember playing the "dungeons" out of order and screwing up the script of the contact on the radio. Or seeing how many prisoners I could punch.

I'm going to start tonight Awesome have fun. The original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 aren't really canon according to Kojima only the "Solid" games are canon and the older games are tough to get used too. I'd suggest starting with MGS1 but do what you want, all that is important is that you have fun.

The controls/movement/aiming is a little bit clumsy and took a while to get used to but I am already so in love with this game. I really wish that I picked it up when it originally came out because if it's blowing my mind now I can only imagine what playing it as a kid would have been like. I can't wait to see where the series goes from here.

Between beating the game on extreme, collecting all the dog tags, and doing the HUNDREDS of VR missions (that range from laughably easy to maddeningly difficult) it was definitely one of the hardest I've ever done. As for the game itself, I thought it was great. I still actually think that MGS1 was better, but this game brought some very welcome additions (first person aiming most of all). Apparently a lot of people hate on this game because they didn't like Raiden, but that wasn't really an issue for me. During my first blind play-through I was really into it and was impacted by the story in a way that doesn't usually happen with video games. I guess it makes sense that people call this one of the first post-modern games. Anyway, I'll be starting MGS3 shortly. A lot of people have been telling me that it is the best one, so I'm looking forward to it!

Yeah MGS2 story is great and Raiden is supposed to be "you" the MGS1 fan playing MGS2. MGS1 and MGS2 are my favorites lots of people like MGS3 which is really good but I love ones before it just a little bit more. What have you thought of the music so far in the series and thoughts on any of the bosses you fought along the way? Any emotional moments that stood out to you so far? Keep me updated
