When I played the first time I wasn't using the guide and I didn't get anywhere close to the end. Did start over - using the guide - and started enjoying it more. May be my ADD, but didn't feel this game gave you enough direction of when and where to be where you needed to in order to keep progressing to the next day. Really glad you can keep your leveled equipment from the game when you don't succeed! Enjoyed XIII-2 much more.
