Hey guys/gals,
So, totally off topic question here. Picture your classic desert island scenario. You get to have 5 CDs/albums of your choice. What would they be. No greatest hits because that would be to easy. Mine would be:
1. Slipknot - All hope is gone 2. Marilyn Manson - The Golden age of Grotesque 3. Voltaire - Boo Hoo (look him up. Trust me) 4. 30 Seconds to Mars - A Beautiful Lie 5. Korn - Follow the Leader
Don't be shy!

1. Metallica - ...And Justice for All 2. Megadeth - Rust in Peace 3. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - The Complete Recordings 4. Les Miserables 5. Justin Timberlake - Future Sex/Love Sounds
Gotta have some variety, the knee-jerk reaction would be all hard rock, but to not go insane, gotta throw some other stuff in there.

I like those albums the best also, but I thought it was just because I was old and remember getting into the bands just as those albums were being released. It is good to see that it is not just my nostalgia but something else in the albums that grabs other people as well. I started listening to Rust in Peace again because of this show.

I don't have Diabolus in Musica, though. This was a hard list to create. Limiting the selection to 5 albums is a harder challenge than I anticipated. I asked the same question, but I had to put some of my favorite grunge hits on there. Alice in Chains and Slayer were the hardest choices. They have so many good albums in my opinion. It was a battle with Ride the Lightning and Appetite for Destruction coming close behind. I was big into AC/DC, Aerosmith, Poison, Scorpions, etc for some time but grunge and thrash won out. Korn was easy to pick, their quality kind of diminished with the years. On their new album, I think the song Never Never is the only good song. The music video is kind of cool too.

I think that is what happen to me with, Facelift was my first Alice In Chain album even though I listen to the Jerry Cantrell stuff that came out later more.

I adore Secret Garden A friend introduced me to it late 2011 and I was hooked after that. The music in that serie is 10/10 and the actors did a pretty good job ^^
