So Theatrhythm introduced different play styles. Stylus, button, hybrid and pro. Since I played the first game, I think I'm hard wired for using the stylus. I've dabbled in button and sometimes I find pro easy to play, (but it gives me a hand cramp) but have yet to even go near hybrid.
Has anyone else tried different styles? What styles work for you?

I always use the stylus for FMV and EMS stages, and button for BMS.

(Please don't think I'm commenting on your ability to play..! Lol). For a couple reasons: 1st- I played the original game on my iPhone, where everything was touch. I got really good at the FMS stages but had trouble with the slide triggers due to the speed at which you have to input the commands. 2nd- I tried using the button-only method throughout the game, but found that during the FMS stages I had trouble with the analog stick hitting the slide triggers with a directional input at the end of the slide. I went back to the stylus and can generally get an SSS score on most FMS stages. The button input method for the BMS stages fixed the issue I had with the original game. |

That's funny, because for me it was the opposite, although I haven't tried using the stylus in awhile on the BMS stages, the button just works fine for me. Still can't figure it out on the FMS though.
