I recently blasted through the FFXV demo in one sitting and loved every minute of it. When I got to use the summon for the first time I thought it was one of the most epic things I've ever seen in a videogame.
It got me thinking. Final Fantasy is a huge series with many epic moments. In your opinion, what is the most epic moment in a Final Fantasy game?

Becoming a paladin. While it was not difficult it was pretty amazing to play through that much of a game and essentially get a new main character so far into a story.

The whole end-of-the-world scene in FFVI is one that comes to mind. Also, Zack's death in Crisis Core. Even meeting Bahamut and getting your job upgrades in FFI was pretty epic.

I agree that Zack's death was very epic in a memorable way. The most epic in a BA kind of way I would say is Anima's summoning in the Luca stadium in FFX
