Haha lol what a coincidence. Fun fact I just started binge watching Neon Genesis Evangelion entire series... I started yesterday. No spoilers since I only watched a few episodes back in the 90s and never really finished it and I forgot plot stuff. I'm watching the platinum perfect collection and I have all the movies and extra eps that I will watch after too. I'm currently on episode 11. So far its awesome and I love Gainax. 80s and 90s anime is awesome I think most 70s anime and everything before it is great too but the majority of it still needed to hit its stride which happened in the 80s and 90s and the animation and series were mostly top tier. I do enjoy anime from the 2000s and currently running stuff as well. Neon Genesis Evangelion was a pretty amazing series just make sure you watch the film The End of Evangelion for the conclusion. Wolf's Rain is also pretty amazing I really reccommend that one, Samurai Champloo, Full Metal: Brotherhood (the animation is pretty great), Big O, Paranoia Agent, and of course Cowboy Bebop. |

Wolfs Rain started strong and is still worth a watch, but I had a few issues with it. Clip shows... Really? 26 episodes and I think at least 3 of them were recap clip shows. It also seemed to fall into the trap of many short run shows in that it begins at a certain pace but then speeds things up too fast at the end in order to cover the whole story.
