Haha, I started a thread yesterday afternoon- We Stood By.
It looks amazing! Going to be set in Boston! Dogmeat returns- along with Deathclaws, who look a lot smaller....
I hope they don't do the same thing that they did with New Vegas- New Vegas was basically Fallout 3 with a skin over it, everything was identical. Really hoping for some good changes.
I'm thinking maybe...holiday release?

I'm thinking maybe...holiday release? Ah sorry, I didn't see that you made pretty much the exact same thread. Great minds I guess! Some changes will be nice. I didn't dislike New Vegas (any Fallout is good Fallout), but you're right in that it was basically more of the same. The Boston location should be cool, but I've always wanted to one day see somewhere else in the world, outside of America. I'm really curious to know what the rest of the Fallout world looks like. Holiday release is possible, but I don't mind waiting a little bit longer if it means that they don't have to rush. Bethesda is notorious for releasing buggy/glitchy/crashy games (though this should be better on the newer consoles). |

Anyone see the trailer? Thoughts, hopes, or concerns for the game? Yes! Fantastic. I've been waiting for it for so long. I love post apocalyptic games, stories, etc. The fact that it is in Boston is pretty cool too. I'm hoping it's more like 3 than New Vegas. Although New Vegas brought some awesome elements, I felt the story kind of lacked. I think DLC about the other courier had a much more immersive story. |
