Is anyone else planning on playing this? store.steampowered.com/app/343710/I am really into the event that this game is based on. I heard about it years ago on some History channel documentary and it has haunted me ever since. I absolutely DESPISE having to use wikipedia for this, but read about it here. The game looks awesome. I am a sucker for horror games and they are few and far between. I will update this post after I get a chance to play it. |

There is a movie about this on Netflix right now actually. Devil's Pass I think it's called. I've seen it. It's alright. Nothing great but it is an interesting take on what happened.

Haha, no I jumped right into FFXIV. It really is so much better. My one free month is almost up though. After that, I'll wiat until you guys start playing and play The Last of Us, though I might get Kholat in there first, it seems pretty short.

This makes me want to go watch Brotherhood of the Wolf again. Reminds me of the middle part in the movie.
As for Wikipedia, I remember being told as a student that I could not use it as a cited source. As a teacher, I continue that but I do tell students that it is not a bad starting point to start looking for sources.

You can use it for certain things, like getting some background knowledge. It is just hard for me to assume that it is legitimate information because of the lack of cited evidence. I am not saying it is all incorrect, but if I can add to that site just by typing something in, I know that anyone else can as well. That is what makes me suspect.
Especially for something like this topic. There is no explanation about what happened. It makes me wonder where the contributors got their information from.
