Having hit 10000 RM, I thought perhaps that this game did not having an ending. But I just hit 20000 and was drawn into the battle with Chaos. I was then greeted with a ska version of the Final Fantasy Theme. www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0jptsSV-JcContest idea... how many of the things can you name in the video? Also, apparently Chaos is a playable character now.

Not that this is really a spoiler but I have over 50000 rhythmia and I was pulled into another battle with Chaos at 40000. I think this pattern will probably keep up and you unlock extra songs for finishing this battle.
BTW, I guess there are two versions of Chaos that are playable. I am currently using one and his stats are super high but his abilities cost a lot of CP to use.

Yeah, you'll notice that this pattern repeats ad nausea as a way to challenge you.
The original Theatrhythm did a better job at signaling an "ending" but I like the never ending quests that you can partake in.

Do you just have to complete the song and he dies at the end? Or is it possible to kill him before the song ends?
During my only battle with him so far I was nervous that I was going to fail because he was still standing. But then he just blink/died as I hit the last note.
Still bummed that I keep failing a level 52 quest with my level 85 characters. I guess a team of Rikku, Vanille, Garnet, and Vivi just don't put out enough damage, lol. When I actually want to beat a song, I usually pull out the characters with some sort of "activate when the boss shows up damage" ability.

Be careful you don't have the ability that makes the second or third enemy flee (lance I think?) because I had that equipped during a quest and the main boss fled so I got a quest failed at the end. Pissed me off.

Thanks for the heads up. No, I just can't beat this guy because I don't have any actual damage dealers. I started experimenting with online multiplayer and just went back to playing the songs. Once I get a beafy party up to 99, I will go back through the quest and get my revenge.
