Watching Goals: Watch the second X-Men movie. Watch unseen Twilight Zone episodes. So, my buddy finally talked me out of watching the rest of Bleach. I enjoyed the first season, but Season Two feels like a different show. I got 11 episodes in, and I was starting to zone out when it was on. I may give it another try, but will probably start at Season 3 or 4. Love bleach, you ever read the manga? It is a lot more streamlined, all the fun less fluff to increase the length definitely might want to check it out if you find the anime boring or slow.

I don't think I was bored, but I stopped focusing on it. Who knows. Next Monday I may just come home from work and pop it on, especially since my daughter expects it and asks for it. I don't imagine myself watching the rest on Crunchyroll (unless it is in English). I don't mind watching anime in English or Japanese, but I have to watch the whole series the same. Since I watched the first two seasons in English, I need to finish it that way. I need those same voices. Inu Yasha the Final Act killed me because every time Kagome or Sesshomaru spoke, I was pushed out of the scene for a bit. The replacements were good, but I get used to a voice. I had a hard time going from FMA to Brotherhood, but eventually the new Al became the only Al in my mind.

Week Three Goals! Book Goal: Get back into the habit of reading a physical book at night, bedside light or no light. Husband Goal: Go to Grill 'Em All and Gallery Nucleus. Father Goals: Buy replacement books. Wagon Time. My daughter has worn out her Tiger and Safari Nat Geo books. She still loves them, but I rather pick her up new copies than stapling the book together or paying to get it spiral bound (which would cost the same amount as the book). Home Goals: Pull out 3 more palms. Follow up with Exterminator. I should not leave the guy I called hanging. I don't think I will use his services, but I should decide and let him know this week. Gaming Goals: Finish side quests leading to Chapter 13. Finish Chapter 13. Professional Goals: Successfully wrap up the last week of class. Talk coworkers into grading immediately after test instead of waiting until later in the day. Friend Goals: See buddy and family on Saturday. Invite friends out Sunday. Make plans for next week during off time. UFF Goal: Write a question for the question segment of UFF and PHAT. Weight Goal: 183 - Just Maintain ***Goal Report*** Book Goal: Passed. I read 4 out of the 7 nights this week. I fixed the lamp right after posting last week's goals. I think the wattage might be a bit too high on the new bulb. The bedroom is already warm enough being upstairs. I may look into a new light, or just leave it since it will be cooling off soon. I did do a little bit of reading in the morning, too. I probably averaged two chapters a day. Watching Goals: PASSED! I did indeed watch the second X-Men movie, but only two episodes of Twilight Zone. My daughter would not let me watch them and I did not want to watch them at night because I was more likely to zone out and fall asleep watching an older show. I missed Bleach, but never got around to watching it. Soon. I removed two discs from my stack of DVDs by the TV, but ended up adding 6 more to the pile. I ended up throwing TBBT season 7 into the pile since I received season 8 in the mail. I'll make my way through those next week, but still try to squeeze in another X-Men movie. Husband Goals: PASSED! PASSED! We went to Grill 'Em All and got the Cowboy From Hell (burger with jalepeno bacon and pulled chicken) and No More Mr. Nice Fries (sweet chili fries). The burger was not that hot. I think the Naplam Death is more of what I was looking for. The previous time we went, we got the Powerslave (apple and bree burger). The names are all badass, but the burgers are more gourmet then a greasy heavy mess. I guess that is better for the insides, but does not feel very metal. The gallery was nice, but less than what I was expecting. Last time we saw the art of Avatar/Legend of Korra and there were over 50 pieces from various artists. This gallery (Monsters of Myth and Nature) felt more like 20 pieces by just three authors. We were probably only in the gallery for 20 minutes. I still may head to the gallery (60 miles away) another time, but will probably wait for something bigger. They had the art of Final Fantasy X one year, so maybe there will be something like that along sometime next year. Father Goals: PASSED! PASSED! We got to go out in the wagon twice. Monday we could not because the neighborhood gets cleaned, and Tuesday it rained all day. But my daughter has been coming on my dog walks lately, too. That feels like wagon time to her. We did not get to walk around the little plaza like we usually do, but we did go twice last week. I still went on my own before work to buy her a new book and her replacement books came. She was pretty happy to see pristine new copies of her books. Hopefully she does not see them as a challenge (I can wreck these, too!). Home Goals: PASSED! PASSED! I pulled out three little palms and a bamboo tree as tall as myself. I did not work on the hill, but I did work in the backyard. I did follow up with the exterminator. Ants can still be found once in a while, but as the weather cools down they seem to be disappearing. Gaming Goals: EXCEEDED! Xillia got really, really good (and messed up) as I got closer to the end of the story. I played every night for at least an hour. I finished Chapter 13, 14, 15, and 16 (the last one). I did all the side character missions, but not the option hunts. I ended up finishing it as soon as my daughter fell asleep after work on Friday. I got the "Good Ending", but the was tying for the "True Ending." None of the three endings is particularly happy; somebody dies in each one. I watched the ending I missed on YouTube and just felt satisfied after that. There is a New Game+, but I don't think I can play the game right now. I really liked the game, but I can't remember if I felt the same after Tales of the Abyss. I will definitely play some more of the Tales games soon, but I don't feel the need to play Xillia 1. I feel like I got a lot of the story while playing through 2. Professional Goals: PASSED! PASSED! It's all done and we graded two hours early. It still took us 90 minutes to grade 48 students. Usually we do 100 in the same amount of time (but usually with one more teacher). Either way, we get paid for the full two hours no matter how much time we take to grade. Friend Goals: PASSED! I got Thai with a buddy on Saturday and saw him and some others Friday, as well. I did invite friends out on Sunday, but it ended up being only me and my wife. I contacted two other friends to make plans for the coming week, but I have not heard back from them yet. They don't seem to use email as a reliable source of communication anymore. I should give them a call this weekend if I really want the plans to work out. UFF Goals: PASSED! I asked a few questions on both forums and probably logged in every weekday to read posts. Weight Goal: PASSED! 183.4 - The last couple of weeks have been weigh-in on Friday morning, gain weight all weekend, lose it all by Thursday morning, roll the dice Thursday night and hope for the best by next weigh-in. Still happy with 183, especially since the last time I saw 185 it was just for a day. I am almost a month now under 190. Goals tonight or by Monday morning.

Week Four Goals
Book Goals: Attend G+ Book Club. Finish Android's Dream. Finish Admiral Hornblower in the West Indies.
Watching Goals: Watch three discs from the pile. I don't have work this week, so I should be able to make a dent in the pile of shame.
Husband Goal: Make dinner for my wife. Last week I was able to cook for my wife a couple of days. I want to be able to do that again. The challenge here is knowing when she is going to be home. Lot's of travelling this week.
Father Goals: Book Store. Wild Animal Park. Birthday Parties. The weather is cooling down, but only because a storm is coming. I want to take my daughter to the Animal Park before the store comes on Tuesday.
Home Goals: Clean the House. Take out at least 6 of the budding palms. I did not get a chance to clean last week, but should have time this week. I should be able to work out in the yard at least twice this week. It depends on the duration of the storms.
Gaming Goals: Dust off the 3DS. Streetpass Games. PQ. It's been so long since I have seen the little red machine. I am sure there are some updates and possibly new puzzles.
Friend Goals: Hang out with friend while we both have time off from work.
UFF Goals: Send Goodies.
Weight Goal: Maintain 183ish. Work changes usually bring weight changes. I need to keep active since I will not be running around half the day teaching anymore.

My wife used to do it a lot, but I never got into. I know this is totally illogical, but it looks to relaxing to do anything. So convince me, give me your elevator pitch for doing yoga? My wife bought me this scale almost 7 years ago. I have only had to change the batteries once.

Please don't quote me on this. My honest view of yoga is that it is a strong relaxant to tired muscles. When yoga poses are strung together they make for a very difficult excersize but it's mainly for stretching the body and oxygenating the muscles. I will perform downward dog into a ashtanga sun salutation maneuver 5 times to stretch the lower to mid back muscles along with focus on core tightening to strengthen my balance. I will use warrior pose <---- heh ff reference. Lol but on a serious side. When doing the warrior pose you will stretch both your arms and core muscles as well as upper back there a total of 4 poses to perform. As this is a elevator pitch I highly!!! Reccomend you do yoga at least once per week to sleeve stress in both joints and muscles that are tightening. If you are not able to balance well enough to perform such maneuvers just stretching for a solid 15 minutes with intense yoga will greatly release pain on the body after a workout.

Now don't fool yourself that yoga is a easy relaxing thing to do. It's Not!!! Even I can not do many of the poses with my weight the way it is and plus when doing this with poor balance it's incredible difficult. I can at the same time praise it to actually work when you are stressed out and tired from a long day of aggravation. Please look into it just for the added benefit of releasing stress from your day. Over time you will soon enjoy it.

Work changes usually bring weight changes. I need to keep active since I will not be running around half the day teaching anymore. Goal Report! Book Goals: FAILED. PASSED. PASSED. I did not attend the G+ Book Club on Saturday. I cancelled and then it was cancelled. I don't think I caused its downfall because three other people cancelled, too. I had a birthday party to take my daughter to and I wanted to be early since it was going to be a hot day. Bascially Book and Father goals conflicting. But also, I did not like the book at all (Speak). I finished the other two books I set out to read, and almost finished two more. Watching Goal: PASSED! I finished off my rewatch of TBBT Season 7 and X-Men Last Stand (aka, Dead Bodies Everywhere). I could claim a fourth disc because I rewatched a bunch of episodes from TBBT Season 8 with my wife. I have also picked up the bad habit of adding discs to my pile. I added two more this week, but stopped myself from adding 8 more (Complete Hornblower TV collection). I really thought I would watch more this week, but I spent most of my time moving my "office" downstairs. It's too hot to work upstairs. So I wait until late at night when it is cooler to actually turn on my computer. But by that time, I usually just skip working on the computer at all. I have been able to accomplish more computer stuff since the move (hence posting this on time). Unfortunately, it looks like playing around on the computer is going to eat into other goals. Husband Goal: Passed? I did make dinner for my wife once during the week, but she did not eat it. I guess I technically passed. This goal kind of morphed into just doing something for her. It is vague, but accomplishable that way. For example, I was able to get a bottle of wine she had been wanting for a few weeks and we got to sit down and watch for a while since I started putting our daughter to bed again. Father Goals: PASSED! PASSED! PASSED! We went to two birthday parties. Why do people insist on having these outdoor parties in insano weather? We did get to go to the Animal Park, though it was tenuous for awhile. Monday saw a flood alert for my area. I did not feel like driving in those conditions. The rain never came and the forecast changed for Tuesday. It was still pretty warm, but not the 100+ weather that has been the norm for the past two months. And we made it to the bookstore. 10 books in two weeks. We may need to skip a few weeks to give her time to actually remember she has these other books. Home Goals: PASSED. PASSED. I really thought I was going to make a big dent in the tree investation, but the weather had other ideas. Still, I got to work outside twice this week and pulled out at least 5 palms each time. The first day I acutally got to work on "the hill". I pulled out quite a few trees, but one I just had to cut. He was buried too deep and intermixed with a much larger tree's roots. Gaming Goals: PASSED. PASSED. Passed. It was nice to play with the 3DS again. I carried it around for a few days, but since I don't need the coins and there do not seem to be any new puzzle pieces, I was not obsessed about collecting streetpass tags. I did buy the fishing and zombie streetpass games. That was probably a mistake. I end up playing those games before playing PQ. Since I did not have much gaming time this week, all I ended up doing was playing those games in 10 minute bursts after filling up my Mii Plaza. I did begin Persona Q, but only played it for 30 minutes this week. I really thought with a week off I would get my Persona on and make a 10 hour dent in this game. Now that work begins next week, I don't see much labrynth exploring going on until December. Friend Goal: PASSED! We hung out today for a hew hours at some of our old haunts. We even scheduled to hangout on Hangouts on Mondays. Hopefully this will grow into an RPG by internet thing and other friends will join the group. UFF Goal: Passed. I really dragged my feet on this one. I got the package in the mail, but it does not ship until tomorrow. Since I am not really sure when my goal week ends, I guess I passed. I measure my weight to post on Friday morning, but I don't know if that means my goal week ends on Thursday Night, Friday Morning, or Friday Night. *shrug* Weight Goal: Failed. 184.4 Still around the 183 zone, better than a few months ago, and way better than last year. But this time of year is a slippery slope for me.

Week Five Goals
Weight Goal: Long Term Goal Last year I gained a pound a week for 10 weeks while teaching. This week begins that 10 week period again. This last 10 week period during the Summer saw me lose a good amount of weight, but I don't see that happening during this more intense, holiday-filled quarter. So the success of the weight goal for this period will be measured at the end of the quarter in 10 weeks. Easy Mode: 190 Casual Mode: 185 Hard Mode: 180 God Mode: 175
UFF Goal: Finally post an iTunes review. Wait... do I need iTunes on my computer to do this, or can I do it from my phone or the website via browswer. I just reformatted my computer and removed all of Apple's clawing fingers.
Friend Goal: Monday Google Handout.
Gaming Goal: Play more PQ than Streetpass Games.
Home Goal: Clean up around the pond. Fall is, well, falling. The pond is get cluttered. There is also a little bush I need to really trim back.
Father Goals: Park. For the last couple of nights, I have taken my wife and daughter to a little park by our house so that she can toss a large ball around. She seems to really enjoy it, but I don't know if the shorter days will let us maintain this.
Husband Goal: Find three opportunities to do something nice for wife. Vague, but doable :-) Her schedule is just too crazy to be specific.
Watching Goal: Shrink the pile by a disc.
Book Goals: Read a physcial book before bed. G+ Book Club The last 10 work weeks of the year is the beginning of the school year for me. It is usually pretty intense. I have also slipped out of the habit of reading before bed lately (only 4 days out of the week). I want to pick up this habit again because it makes me go to bed earlier, it is easier on the eyes, and I have really been enjoying delving into the Dragonlance world again.
Professional Goal: Enjoy the first week of work. There are so many things to complain about, but I need to look for those silver linings.

Now don't fool yourself that yoga is a easy relaxing thing to do. It's Not!!! I can at the same time praise it to actually work when you are stressed out and tired from a long day of aggravation. Please look into it just for the added benefit of releasing stress from your day. Over time you will soon enjoy it. I have a serious question about this. Do you have to do it in a group, and do you have to wear yoga pants? I'm uncomfortable doing any of that in a group, and very uncomfortable wearing yoga pants, and extremely uncomfortable wearing yoga pants while doing that in a group.

I'm uncomfortable doing any of that in a group, and very uncomfortable wearing yoga pants, and extremely uncomfortable wearing yoga pants while doing that in a group. As I am not a professional my opinion is all I can give. No you don't have to wear yoga pants or super tight leggings to do yoga. A comfortable pair of sweat pants and a nice breathable flexible under armor shirt is fine. Or no shirt is cool too. What you are going for is a set of clothing that allows for maximum maneuverability. With almost all of the poses, there will be times where you need to push past your bent limit. Such as trying to touch the ground with your palms.<----- this was really hard when I started and I am now able to put my fingers on the ground. For the group aspect of your question, it is not nessesary to do it in groups but it is a nice motivator to do it with a partner. But as you know I find more of a accomplishment doing it I my own. Now there are a multitude of different videos on the internet that show you poses you can do. I already named a few in my previous post that are beginner level. Try looking them up and see what you are comfortable with . If you want I can look for the poses this after noon and post links on here in a separate thread for some of you to practice at home.
