I kknow that this entry is also sub par, but I still enjoyed it. I also spent many hours on the optional missions for this game. I went as far as completing them all, though I never found and shot all of the capsules in the game, which unlock cut scenes and what not. Overall, I enjoyed the gameplay, byt not so much the discrepancies with VII's plot. How do you guys feel about this one?

I liked it and I didn't really pay that much attention to the story. I really liked the gameplay of the game and I really like the gun customization a lot.

Posttraumatic capsule disorder. Consistent double takes thinking "is that a capsule".....Ah tragic memories. Game is awesome Co-op when you plug in a mouse and your homie is the one aiming.

I never had a chance to play it. From everything I heard it wasn't a great game, let alone a great FF game. If you guys all think it is worth a playthrough I'll borrow it from a buddy of mine....

Yeah. At the very least, it's an interesting concept. They should do a Barrett spin off shooter.

That's what I hate about most spinoff/sequel games, and probably my biggest complaint about LR: FF. The games feel so different and disconnected from the main entry game that you almost wish they would have just inserted random characters and called it something else. I think most people play spinoffs or sequels because they feel a connection to the main series game after all of the time they spent in that world, and so far I don't think any spinoff/sequel has come close to duplicating that same feeling (FF13-2 and Crisis Core probably came the closest to pulling it off).
